Vince Byfield: God, Family, Freedom and the Future of Alberta

Talk Truth 10.09.26 – Vince Byfield Part 2 | If Alberta became independent, who should control the government, the money and the laws? Vince Byfield returns for Part 2 of his proposed “First Principles of Alberta,” challenging the idea that government authority should flow from Ottawa down to ordinary citizens. Byfield argues for turning that system upside down, giving families and local communities greater authority over decisions and taxation. He lays out his principles for property rights, justice, government accountability and sound money, including his proposal to redirect more resources toward community-selected charitable organizations rather than government programs. He also explains why he believes Alberta needs to establish its foundational values before writing a constitution — and invites Albertans to challenge, debate and improve his ideas.
